WelCom is the monthly newspaper of the Archdiocese of Wellington. Print copies of the eight-page newsletter are free and available in parishes, and sent to parishes and schools in PDF form. The archive contains WelCom stories published from 2007 to 2026 (May).

Connect.org.nz aims ‘to be an online infrastructure that assists young Catholic Kiwis to live fully and be connected to Christ, the church and each other’.
From July 7 to 14 some 400 pilgrims will touch down in the dioceses of Palmerston North and Wellington for a cultural, social and faith-filled exchange’”spending time in our parishes, experiencing life in a Kiwi household, praying, eating and walking with us as pilgrims to WYD in Sydney.
The national WYD committee has been running the competitions to give pilgrims a chance to share something of their journey to WYD and to win some great prizes.
The Justice, Peace and Development Commission of the Wellington Archdiocese seeks to increase the capacity of Catholics to both critically analyse society and work for a more just world.
The sausages were superb, the cakes simply delicious, the deals were spectacular and the pilgrims were very happy to have their fundraising efforts boosted by $2500.
Items included the 2008 WYD Song, a medieval weaponry display and more music. We also had a craft stall in the main street selling jewellery, cards and artwork by pilgrims.
Even before the final rehearsal enthusiastic fans were queuing at Ss Peter and Paul church for the March 14 concert.
